If you have a sony xplod car stereo headunit and the buttons on the front faceplate are not working, however the eject button is functional you wont be able to change stations. Some users have also said on forums that the sony car stereo volume knob is not working. All are similar kind of problems that have the same cause which is dirt on the metal contacts. When you click it in place onto the radio, there multiple small metal pins on the back of it that connect to the brain of the CD player.
