If you have a brand new Pioneer car stereo that has just come out of the box for the first time and it is installed into your car, by default it will be in the demo mode. The demo mode on any Pioneer car stereo will display the different functions and features your car radio has on the LCD screen. Once you are aware about this you might want to turn off the demo feature on your pioneer car stereo. Now just to inform you the procedure should generally be the same, but it can vary depending on what kind of model you have whether its newer or older.
1) Put the key in the ignition and start up the car.
2) Press down the source button so that the Pioneer car stereo powers off.
3) Hold down the volume knob in or hold menu down to bring up the quick setup menu.
4) Turn the volume knob left or right to scroll through the different options until you see 'DEMO' appear from the list.
5) Push the volume button in or use the directional arrows (depending on your model) to turn it off.
