If you don't clear the bluetooth memory on your Pioneer car stereo to a certain extent, it will fail to play any songs from your smartphone using the feature. Now the bluetooth memory remembers the track list and phone device ID when you connect it from the very first time. So in future when you connect your phone again to your Pioneer car stereo using bluetooth it doesn't have to search for the information again giving you instant playback as soon as its connected up. This is a common problem on the Pioneer avh-200BT, avh-2500BT and avh-x2700BS models, so far these are the ones that we have come across at the shop that are booked in for a quick service. Now most of the time to fix this problem you will need to reset the bluetooth memory on your Pioneer in car dvd player.
1) Tap turn off the unit on the screen.
2) Press the 'Home' button and tap system key.
3) There will be a small list of options on the screen displayed. The one that you need to select is 'Bluetooth memory clear'.
4) To clear the bluetooth memory on your Pioneer car stereo you will need to tap clear and select the 'Unwanted item' option. Finalise resetting the bluetooth memory by pressing 'OK'.
