If you have entered the radio code incorrectly to many times on your Ford Focus radio, then it will block itself for 1 hour. This is to protect it because the microchip inside will assume that its stolen and your not the original owner of the code as you don't know it because you entered it incorrectly before. To reset the Ford Focus car stereo radio code you will need to stop powering going to it for a short while. This will fully reset the security radio keycode on the Ford Focus car stereo in seconds so that you can have another attempt.
1) Leave the car stereo powered on.
2) Press the release hatch to open the bonnet.
3) Disconnect the terminal connector on the + post on the car battery.
4) Leave this for 3 minutes and reconnect it back on you might notice a spark when you do this which is normal.
5) The radio codes entered in your Ford Focus car stereo previously will now be reset.
