If your car amp is not turning off when you switch off the cars engine upon the ignition, before you know it you will have a dead car battery the next following morning. This problem usually occurs because you have connected the car directly to the battery without connecting the blue remote wire. The blue remote wire tells the amp when to turn on and off that is controlled by the car stereo when its switched on. Its most likely that you have not connected it to your car amp, or a wrong wire which is causing it to not turn off. The guide has been presented to you to help you fix your car amp thats not turning off and will instruct you what you need to do.
1) Remove the headunit from the din slot.
2) Look for the blue remote wire on the back of the plugged in wiring harness loom.
3) Now you need a long piece of wire to run down your car, in most cases if you have a look in between the RCA leads, there will be a small wire that sandwiches between both plugs in the middle. What you need to do is connect this wire to the blue remote wire on the stereo.
4) Head back to the car amplifier mounted in the trunk. Connect the remote wire on the other end of the RCA leads into the 'Turn On' terminal on the amp. Now the car amp will turn off and on with the ignition.
