How To Wire Car DVD Player to Play While Driving

In order for your car dvd player to play movies while you are driving, you will need to bypass the parkingbreak wire. Manufacturers prevent car stereos that have a screen to play videos when driving because they see it as a driving risk for some reason not sure why though. Now if you have your kids and a wife in the back, you can play a movie on motorway trips to keep them busy, while you can concentrate driving on the road. We don't see this as an distraction at all, if you think about it how about sticking tomtom sat nav on the screen. Isnt that more distracting when you are looking were to go on the sat nav and driving at same time. Now its up to you whether or not you want to bypass the parking break. Whatever brand car DVD player stereo you have whether its a Kenwood or Pioneer the bypass instructions will be the same.

1) Power off the car stereo.

2) Remove it from the din slot.

3) Look at the rear and locate the handbreak wire it will be labelled.

4) Find the black ground wire and connect this together with the handbreak wire. This will bypass the brake wire permanently all the time now.
