1) Remove the negative lead from the car battery terminal post. This will prevent any kind of electrical shorts occurring when handling the wires.
2) Go into the trunk. You will see three thick wires, a black ground wire, a red power wire and a set of RCA cables. Start of by unscrewing the bolt attached to the black ground wire that is attached to the vehicles chassis followed by removing this wire.
3) Now you will need to remove the remaining 12 volt red power wire. So follow it down, unclip all of the plastic trim panels its hiding under found at the side of the car. Head back to the car battery, using a socket wrench remove it from the + terminal, now you will be able to pull it out completely and remove it.
4) The final RCA cables, which are long wires with plugs on the end of them will be leading up to the middle area of the cars dashboard were the stereo goes into. You might have to remove the glovebox to get full access to remove this cable.
5) Now that all the car audio amplifier wires are successfully removed, you can now go ahead and reattach the negative lead back onto the car battery.
