If you want to turn on a car amp without a remote wire you can bypass it. This wire is used to provide the amplifier a signal when to power on and off. When you switch on your stereo, it will send voltage down to tell it to wake up. For testing purposes you can turn on any car amp without a remote wire. It is perfectly safe to do and you will not damage your car audio equipment. As this have been tested with many different brands including JL audio, Rockford Fosgate and JBL and works perfect each and every time.
1) Make sure there is no 12 volt power going to the car amp.
2) Get a small piece of 20 gauge wire, i say around 5 CM would be ideal for this situation.
3) Unscrew both the remote and power wire terminals using a screwdriver.
4) Now that you have done that, slip the wire into both terminals creating a circular loop between them bridging them together.
5) Screw them back up so that the wire is nice and tight.
6) Power on your car amp, it will now switch on as normally, the lights will start to blink and the music will be playing through your speakers or subwoofers connected.
