If the car you are wanting to install a amplifier into has a CD player stereo without RCA jacks, you can use a high to low level line output convert box. You can easily pick these boxes up for dirt cheap on websites such as Ebay as they come directly from china when shipped. This is the best preferred method if you are wanting to keep everything stock and not upgrade it to an aftermarket one. How it works is you connect your speaker wires and it converts them into a weaker signal to work with RCA cables and plugs. Once you have the converter, there are some great instructions that you can use to help you complete the installation of connecting a car amp without any RCA jacks effortlessly.
1) Power off the stereo. So turn off the cars ignition taking out the key.
2) Remove the CD player from the plastic trim slot. You can use a flat head screwdriver or use din tools.
3) Disconnect the rear speaker wires. Connect them into the converter box matching the positive and negative wires with the polarity labelled on the box.
4) Hide the box away by pushing it all the way back into the slot. Connect your RCA cables and run them down your car panels on the opposite side to the power wire. This is to prevent any interference getting picked up resulting in either a buzzing or humming noise to appear.
5) Connect the RCA cables into the jack inputs on your car amplifier. There you have it! Installation is now complete and you can bump your music like you supposed to just like SMD steve meade.
