How To Change a Flat Tyre On a Car Step By Step

changing flat tyre

Having a flat tyre is the last thing you want in the middle of the motorway or a busy road. The first thing you should consider is if you have a spare in the boot. If you remove the interior carpet laid out inside the trunk, you will be usually see a spare tyre. If you have the supplied tool kit handy in your car, then you can save yourself costs and time by changing the flat tyre yourself. If you are from the UK West Yorkshire region, Pellon Tyres & Auto Centre have the best prices as they are an approved Nokian Tyre Dealer. But in the mean time I hope this quick guide can help you quickly swap over your flat tyre.

1) Place the jack underneath your car. Press the leaver up and down to make the vehicle higher.

2) Place the wrench into the lug nuts of the wheel and remove all of them.

3) Slide off the complete wheel from your car. Place this back in the trunk, you can take it to your local tyre shop to get it changed.

4) Line up the wheel and place the lug nuts back in, tightening them up with the wrench you used earlier on.

Its seems hard but it is really not. Changing it yourself is cheaper than calling out a recovery trunk to come out.
