If you have been given a car stereo without a faceplate, or have found an old unit stored away in your shed, you can still use the car stereo without the faceplate. All the faceplate does is provide you with buttons and a screen to help you will your music playback. What you can do is basically use a remote control to play songs on your car stereo all without using the faceplate. If you don't have the remote you basically can't do nothing other than buying a second hand panel of ebay.

1) Remove the battery panel for the control. You might require a small Philips head screwdriver for this.

2) Insert batteries into the wireless remote.

3) Pair up the remote to the car stereo without no faceplate.

4) Insert a CD into the headunit and press the play button on the wireless remote. You can also control the volume settings from it
