If you have some old car speakers that you no longer want to keep due to recently having new upgrades you might as well have some fun with them before they go in the bin. Now this is only suggested if they are worth nothing like with the cheap factory paper cone speakers that are worthless have little or no resale value. The best way to blow up any type of car speaker big or small is using a wall outlet because its the most effective method. Sending 240 volts down some wires into the voice coil will literally blow the speakers in seconds. The speakers will start the produce smoke and when the speaker is blown out it will stop buzzing and rattling. This is safe to do as long as you know what you are doing which most of you would since you are into car audio electronics.
1) CAUTION! Make sure the wall outlet plug is turned off from the switch. Pop on your will smith glasses and your white lab coat (Just Joking).
2) Connect the speaker wire into the electrical plug sockets live and neutral.
3) Attach the other end of the speaker wire onto the subwoofer you want to blow up which way does not matter. Make sure the wires are securely fitted on.
4) Wiring is all done so lets have some fun. Ok flick on the walloutlet switch which the speaker wires are connected into and allow the process to begin. When the speaker is blown up turn it off from the wall socket before removing any wires.
