1) Lay the wood flat onto the floor and plan out clearly what pieces are going to go where.
2) Start by pouring wood glue onto the joints of the wood were they are going to connect with the other half. Pour it in a zigzag shape evenly across the area to get an air tight seal.
3) Line up the wood with the glue on the other piece and press it down. To secure the wood piece use a clamp to help it stay in place while its drying. You need to perform this will all of the different pieces of the wood. Once you have made a box shape then you will need to move onto the port.
4) Now depending on what the subwoofer tuning calculator says, in most cases you will need to cut the PVC aero port to length to get the 50 Hz tuning frequency to get the loud subwoofer bass that you are after. Get a handsaw and mark up around the plastic part were you want to make the cut and start sawing through the plastic.
5) Draw the inner diameter of the port onto the front of the box. Using a jigsaw cutter, cut around it carefully. Once you have made the hole, place the plastic aero port into the box and behind it secure it down using hot glue from a glue gun.
6) Now that you have constructed the box and fitted the aero port, all you need to now is fit the speaker cup terminal and cut the hole for the subwoofer. Then all is left is to connect speaker wire inside the box and allow the glue to dry for a minimum of 48 hours.
