Pioneer stereo remote not working

If you have a high end car stereo manufactured by Pioneer that comes supplied with a remote control, you can control the functions and features without having to use the buttons. This makes it easier if you are trying to fine tune your system from a distance. Now recently we have noticed that a certain customer came into our shop because their Pioneer car stereo remote was not working. We checked that the battery was fine and had charge. In fact the problem was that the Pioneer Car Stereo remote needed programming. This will instruct it to work with the infrared sensor placed on the front of the radio so that it can communicate with it. Now on how to program a Pioneer car stereo its not that hard and you can do itself yourself at home.

1) Press down the On button and the Off buttons in fast succession in a total of two times.

2) Followed by pressing the On button again and holding down all of the other buttons on the remote control all at once for around 5 seconds. If you have done everything as accordingly, you will hear a quick confirmation beep from the internal speaker inside it.

3) Once you have heard the beep, press the override button on the remote and hold it down for five seconds. If done correctly you will hear three more beeps, as soon as you do release the override button.

4) Wait a couple of seconds, now press any of the volume and track buttons three times and press the override button again. Hold it down until the Pioneer remote control thats not working until the beep is heard.

5) Press down the override button once again to confirm it. The Pioneer remote control will not be working.
