Having too much overpowering bass can sometimes be overwhelming, but also too much treble from your car speakers can also become a problem. In my opinion, harsh loud ear ringing treble will damage your ears far quicker more than anything. Also it can sound like somebody is screaming in your ear when the vocals are being heard from the music. Too much bright treble can also increase the chances of developing tinnitus ear problems, an ringing sound when you are trying to go sleep. Overall, if this is something you notice in your car audio system, you want to lower the amount of treble there is.
1) Play a soundtrack that you are experiencing loud treble problems with on your car stereo.
2) Increase the volume to a regular listening level.
3) Go into the Equalizer under audio settings.
4) Adjust the two sliders that are found at the end of the right hand side, as the ones on the left are to adjust bass frequencies.
5) Begin to adjust both slightly lower until the bright treble seems to disappear.
