How To Get a CD out of Car CD Player With No Power

If the CD inside your Car Stereo is stuck in most cases you can press the eject button to release it. If there is no constant power because the battery is dead and needs changing, you will need to eject the disc manually. This can become a real problem especially if your favourite CD that you listen to the most is stuck in a Car Headunit. All you require is a plastic card, this can be anything from an old credit or mobile phone top up card to do the trick.

1) Place double sided tape onto the bottom side of the plastic card at the edge that you are going to use.

2) Slide it into the slot with the sticky side facing down of the car stereo. This making it go above the disc sticking it onto the disc when almost more than half is in.

3) Using a flat head screwdriver, press the card downwards to ensure that it sticks firmly on the top part of the audio disc.

4) Pull out the screwdriver from the CD slot. Then with extra care remove the card from the slot, the disc should also follow itself out if you have performed the previous steps orderly.
