Why Does My Car CD Player Keep Ejecting Discs Out?
In order for a car stereo to play music you will need to insert a audio CD. The laser inside the disc drive then reads the data from it using the laser. If your car CD player was installed recently and keeps ejecting CDS out, your best solution would be to use a lens cleaner kit. This contains a special liquid and a brush attached to a disc. This then spins inside the drive when inserted for a few seconds cleaning out any dirt on the lens itself. 2) Squeeze the bottle and pour two to three drops onto the brush attached onto the bottom of the disc.
3) With the brush side facing downwards, insert the disc into your CD player that keeps ejecting discs out.
4) It will play for a few seconds. During this process the cleaning will take place instantly as soon as it is slotted in.
5) Once the cleaning is done. Either the disc will pop out itself or because it has fixed the problem most likely it will continue to play like normal. You might need to repeat all the steps a couple of times to ensure that a proper clean has taken place before you are thinking about replacing your headunit altogether.
