How To Port / Vent a Sealed Subwoofer Enclosure Box

If you have placed your car subwoofer into an sealed box enclosure, it will make the bass sound tight, crisp, punchy and accurate, ideal for gaining the maximum sound quality in your car audio system, making it ideal if you listen to rock music. However if you don't want the bass to sound like that and want bass to sound boomy and hit lower frequencies louder, without buying or building a new custom made enclosure, then if you a large sealed box, that has lots of cubic volume inside the sealed enclosure, then you can insert an pvc port into it and port the box. Porting it will increase the spl, as well as having decent sounding sound quality and if you tune the port to a low frequency like 30Hz, your sub is guaranteed to hit the lows.
